(Below I will not go on a weight measurement data and in detail, as this can be found in the item description)
I have received the Orient Mako Black CEM75001B October 2013 by my wife for her birthday. I looking for a clock in the lower price segment (500) has long been that a little can keep up (in my case, diving watches or Submarinern) of higher price ranges with watches, this was exactly to my liking.
The comfort is absolutely pleasant, the clock is balanced ideal for a strong man's arm. The size of the clock is also to tall men perfectly suitable for nomal. If one is of course a line in the landscape, this will surely just as with all other Accesoires a question of good taste and you should consider whether you should not buy a smaller one.
The steel used is really well made and above average aussgesprochen robust. After nearly half a year, I have no scratches or dents on the bracelet or body and although I have only recently fully taken the metal frame of a door in spite of daily wear. Funnily enough, the paint is jumped from the doorway and my clock is purely gotten nothing.
Only on the bezel (the black wreath with silver numbers) I have been a small scratch, but virtually no notice. The bezel seems at all to be of a different material, I suppose plastic, at least it is not ceramic.
For accuracy, I can only say great! I have 10 days maximum 2-3 seconds and the deviation at a power reserve of min. 48 hours (measured precisely I have not yet because I often easy to wear the clock on the arm!).
The Orient Mako Black is without a doubt the Omega Seamaster of the hard-working man. Until I'm going to get myself a higher preisklassige clock, I buy certainly still one or the other Orient-model.
One thing I would like to respect. Tell other cheaper watch brands that cover the design a similar field. For reference, I have an Invicta Pro Diver 15178, this is with UVP 228, - Euro advertised, but is often to have been for about 50.
If I compare this with the Orient, then you notice a quality difference as day and night. The Invicta loses in all areas, whether body, dial, band, buckle or material itself. The Orient acts clearly-quality and reliable!
Conclusion: The Orient Mako Black is a beautiful, high quality watch that does not have to hide behind many high-priced watches. An independent clock with soul, NO abgekupferte tribute or replica, the only way would be like as a great role model.
