I bought this book hoping to find "technical" tricks to camp in the wilderness, make a smart base camp, a makeshift shelter etc ... in the end, I have a book on plants, 50% of the book is not THAT on plants. The other 50% can be used to he (or she) who has never made a fire of his life, or who hesitates over the fate of his dirty socks (two conflicting options as pages ...) Maybe this book was a reference ... but in 1970 (the passage on shoes cook my father plunged into old memories ...) short, I am disappointed with my purchase. I bought the same day "buddy Hood" for my youngest, finally I read with him, and all alone and I prefer it.
