TV playback (Digital Cable with a Alphacrypt Light Module older firmware):
First you do a favor and turn off the image enhancer, otherwise the soap effect will have a horrified facial expression result. After the Sharp HD channels are properly for me, digital channels are even better than expected. My Alphacrypt-light module I have taken the old LG plasma and easily repositioned and everything was as before. The EPG is running properly, but the operation is not as comfortable as the old LG. The sound is for a flat screen TV even pretty good and the LG sounds against Sharp like a goat, which lulls on a plate ;-). The sound output via Toslink (opt. Fiber optic cable) to the AV receiver works flawlessly for me and sounds even here the sound better than the LG. Placebo effect? I can not answer it. Owner of an AV receiver with ACR (Audio Return Channel) should know that only the HDMI support 1 port of Sharp ARC here. If you connect a USB flash drive, you can also look easily at different times. But recording of a program is not possible. Switching speed is so-so, so it can last 2-3 seconds, so similar to the previous LG. To station sorting I need not say a word. I agree to a dirge, and I am glad that I am away with it.

Perfectionists and bean counters are certainly still somewhere a minimal edge formation, in dark scenes find missing details, etc. For Otto-Normal-consumer the picture is just top notch. Rejoice in the image and is not looking for a needle in a haystack - that spoils you the fun movie experience. In my technical equipping the way I have found no problems with the synchronicity. If there should be problems there with you, then it helps the receiver a Lip-synch function to perform. It may also help to adjust the screen game and adjust the image settings here to the personal needs.
PS-3 gaming:
Gambling with such a large screen is indeed a stunner! There will be people who find a input lag here. I can find nothing personal here. Should that be a problem with you, so adjusts the screen game and it should not be a problem anymore.
USB is during playback (with DivX files sampled):
Here lies for me the weakness at Sharp. At first I had problems with a stick (Verbatim Store n Go 32 GB), which was not always recognized. After that, I have a Medion USB stick used and there are no problems. The stick is always recognized. Also I use occasionally an external hard drive (Seagate Expansion 1TB). Since the Sharp zickt occasionally around times, but this is lying to the power saving function of the hard disk. Now to the actual playback of DivX Avis. Until now, the Sharp has played every file that I had on the plate. In 6 months, the TV has suspended 1x when playing. Pulled the plug and everything beautiful again :-) No problems with sounds in Dolby Digital, DTS, but the Sharp will not play. Is there ever a flat-screen TV, which can? I know off the cuff no. Files with not so good resolution even shown encouraging good since I was pleasantly surprised. The media player of the Sharp is in my opinion not as comfortable to use as the old LG device.
Internet features:
Setting up the wireless LAN was very quick and it works with my Speedport router perfectly. Now I use the function for sometimes the weather or time for ne preview feeds on NEN trailers. For my needs, so sufficient and fast enough. For a comprehensive research on the net I use he prefers NEN PC / laptop with a sensible keyboard. A keyboard you can not connect via USB to the Sharp incidentally.
My Resume:
After 6 months of Sharp provides kicking his ministry, as the first day. During the 6-month operation no operating noise are Occurred and he still looks like on the 1st day. The Sharp is a great TV bolide with an excellent price / performance ratio for me. So a good picture, so to find a price, is not easy. After plasma TV with the strong spiegeldem display, I do not want to dispense with the Sharp. The matte display I now appreciate in earnest. The biggest drawbacks of the device, I see the Clouding where it seems apparently to give some manufacturing variations at Sharp. With my Sharp I can not complain, because with me hardly Clouding exists. After playing a little to the settings of the TV, I have to really look for it and find it only in the dark room for something. The Soap effect (pictures look like when GZSZ series) is carried off the image enhancer for me no longer exists and therefore for me also not a disadvantage. I'd definitely buy the Sharp back and in the evaluation I was with 4.5 stars here. Since I can not award half stars, and TV is not perfect, are here 4 of 5 remote controls as a result.
