I bought the camera in summer with cashback and a MM action 640. Previously, I have but much doubted whether I should buy me. The reason is probably familiar to many: AF problems. For the price I was a risk but "value".
The first thing I tested the camera was whether the focus sits. Unfortunately, I have personally f1.8II only the well-known 50mm. Herewith I have no AF problems, on the contrary the AF works more reliable than my old 1000D. But since it is not very representative, it remains in this brief assessment.
Here is a list of the experience of the past six months:
+ The compact size
+ C - program (not more than one)
+ Swivel Monitor, I was able to use many times.
+ Good grip on the handle, the camera can grow very safe.
+ Long battery life, except for video.
+ Great focus function via Touch the video shoot. For Videonoobs how perfect me.
+ Shoulder display saves battery, unlike my old 1000D.
+ Continuous I was already extensively use for me.
+ Great picture quality, compared to 1000D is unbeatable in höhreren ISO.
+ Noise: For me, the ISO noise to 1000D was once surprising. The camera shoots images even in ISO 100-400 with distinct graining. But the grain size does not affect the sharpness of the image and on the contrary, I find it very pleasant and happy Scan intentionally in higher ISO. Still, it was the first (AC) moment a bit surprising.
- No wireless flash on the good Yongnuo Flash Trigger in LiveView. Needless.
- No GPS, a pity.
- No Infrared focus light, measurable only by lightning.
- No USB 3.0.
