The ESM cartridges are working properly and the print image is very good. However, I use rarely Fotoddruck on glossy paper, have as a graphic designer but already the demand for a high-quality color printing. I have already printed illustrations by me on glossy photo paper and I found also not objectionable.
Even the insertion of the cartridge is preparing regarding any trouble spots or handling. the cartridges are recognized and can be losdrucken - it does not require a Chip Resetter or the like. The Epson announces only that you have probably not inserted original cartridges, then some pages come on the display about the benefits of original ink, that's it. Then you can print undisturbed.
My advice, however, is that you can not additionally permanently imprinted on the third-party inks in saving mode. This my prints were streaky, apparently the printheads were too dry. After I realized this and now always prints normally remain the printheads error on time and without streaks. Only if I have full surface print on plain paper to read, for example, white text on a colored background correction I use the saving mode so that the paper does not so fully absorbed.
Also, the ink consumption is surprisingly low which is also that of the Epson is not constantly on rinsing. It is that the cartridge and the ink are really good is all the more important.
The other cartridges were a complete letdown. Even if they worked one or more days normally could directly after you insert it on the blue pass that the printer the error message indicating "The cartridge (color anyway) can not be recognized". These other cartridges of the same brand then functioned partly a few days normal until they too were suddenly no longer recognized. These other brand was pricewise as this one; So therefore the difference can hardly come.
I've tried the other brand before this ESM, I even thought the problem lies on the printer and Epson would want to deliberately prevent the use of third-party ink.
After I'm switched to ESM-ink I never had such problems, so it can not have been on the printer.
I can therefore - especially because I have the comparison with at least one third-party trademark - these cartridges Recommend unreservedly.
