After these speakers was almost praised everywhere, I have bought this with the 35% birthday voucher from the Philips P9x (in black) at the Philips website. With 70 discount, so for 130, it seemed to me that to be a good deal. The first impression was not bad, but strangely, I found that NFC worked only with my Nexus 4. Neither with my Nexus S, yet my Nexus 7 or Nexus 5 an acquaintance it worked. Does not bother really, a Bluetooth connection can be produced even without NFC. Then I compared the P9x with two Bose and found out that already the more favorable (at list prices) SoundLink Mini the P9x mercilessly plays against the wall. Even worse, it looks to the SoundLink III which not only sounds better, but compared to P9x also has a battery with almost twice the duration on board. In contrast to both P9x not rattle Bose even at high volume levels and over the entire volume range considerably more balanced in tone. The processing leaves something to be desired, because not only the rubber mat on which the box is begins already to solve the clanking at high volumes does not speak for a good quality. With my Windows computers (laptop and desktop, both with Windows 8.1) if there are any Bluetooth connection, or breaks after successful pairing again from. For 130, the box is just OK, but the 199 list price is not worth the box.
