Livescribe 8GB Echo - super tool for everyday work

Long-term test for 3 years with the Anoto system and for over a year with the Livescribe Echo.
About the technology was already written, so it should be mentioned only briefly here, that you need a special paper with grid points. Different blocks A4, A5 and Mini Blocks can be ordered through Amazon here. I use mainly an A5 blocks and blocks Mini A6. This year I have consumed 5 A5 and 1 mini block. I document every meeting, all the phone calls and the daily doing. Meetings and phone calls with most voice recording. In one year I have the pen without archiving not fully gotten, over medium recording quality. After filing a stand the data only on the PC available and the pin is free again for new. In the pen I have the data not needed anyway.

I set the Echo 8GB for over a year without any problems in the project planning a (before that I had the Logitech pen). Software is available for the Mac or PC. I use the MAC software with connector to Evernote. So I have the data via Internet everywhere available (with handwriting recognition in Evernote)
The software installation is easy.

What excites me:
# The handwriting recognition is also in my "Sauklaue" felt at 100%. So I think from my notes at any time to have to look old information without. Particularly valuable as I have often clear up questions about past discussions.
# The voice recording. Not to beat at long meetings (this was the reason why I switched from Logitech). Often items will be considered long, then comes an intermediate topic, the meeting is over and only I know, thanks to the pin to date. Unbeatable. I have needed it in small rooms with 3 people, large rooms with 40 people, and on the phone with speakerphone. Participants will be advised by me that I record - it is interestingly discussed factual (nice side effect)
# Blocks - for each application there is a block
# The battery life. I am sometimes one week to arrive. Write and record with an average of 3 hours holding the pen three days (battery at 40%), then I invite him on the PC. Announcements on quietly and screen brightness at 10%
# Handwriting conversion to digital form. The conversion is extremely good with MyScript. Here I must admit that I, so that I can convert them into digital documents clean Write logs equal. The conversion is sufficient to select the protocol to write to the end. It's a significant time savings
# The reading of texts with Voice Recording. Meanwhile, it is normal to hear the spoken word to the transcript for me, but it inspires everyone who sees it for the first time and heard. Conclusion: I use the stylus daily professionally and personally, and it is considerably easier in daily Doing.
