My findings with hardwood oil, I shall discuss below.
BENEFITS
+ Very reasonable compared to higher quality hardwood oil (which however is not necessarily of better quality)
+ Productive
+ Value for money unbeatable because other good hardwood oil providers require significantly more money for their product
+ Easy to apply by brush or roller, with a very good result is obtained when incorporating the oil firmly in the direction of the grain
+ Furniture is again really "fresh" and be preserved, that with little effort you have longer some of his (expensive) garden furniture
DISADVANTAGES
- Waste oil should be taken after about 10 minutes with a cloth and rub the surface dry (I go again after 30 minutes with a new cloth on the treated areas and work it on again; had previously only achieved good results)
- Used rags or cloths should be cleaned with water and washed, as they soaked in the oil tend to self-ignition
- Very intense smell (I put the container for storing again in a plastic bag)
In summary, I want to say that I recommend this product to anyone who long fun at his hardwood surfaces such as garden furniture, pergolas, etc. would have. I myself am very happy with the product and buy it to me again, but it would never be used for indoors because of the smell. For its stated application I forgive 5 Stars.
*** Update 05/16/2015 ***
My wife recently installed with an old, weathered chair that must have been for years in an old lady on the balcony well. This I lightly sanded and applied the oil in two steps. It has penetrated so quickly, so that the wood surface Ruck Zuck was dry and I was able to perform the second operation.
In the pictures you can see the first non-sanded and untreated chair. In the third picture is then the back of the chair after sanding and two treatments with the teak and hardwood oil. Now he sees the whole like new again. The oil is awesome.
