I bought the system in order to realize on my PS3 digital surround sound. I must say that this system should be a compromise for me. The PS3 was previously connected in the living room to an AVR Receiver with 5.1 and I was very satisfied. I did not even install on my separate TV with the PS3 a complete home theater system. That seemed a bit too expensive in the sum. Sounds like a luxury problem to you? At first I could anschliesen my old Logitech 5.1 analog system on the Decoderstation my Tritton 5.1 headphone. But analog is just not digitally. Especially not when you advance in the living room so it had. So I searched for alternatives that were priced in the range below 400. I wanted in any case, a use of HDMI, then on the PS3 via HDMI DTS is also processed. And I was important a remote control. Thus secreted various PC (Gaming Systems). When I discovered the court system, I saw basically once all requirements met. Ok, so far I had BR films play on my PS3 and provide a BR player next to a PS3 also seemed a bit strange to me. The system was packaged properly, because there is absolutely nothing to complain about. The membranes in the remote color view of playful, certainly not to everyone's taste, I found it quite nice. The front speakers are unfortunately a bit shaky on a semicircular plastic profile which is in one piece with the speaker body and two small mini rubber feet. All cables are via terminals on the speakers or on the BR player connected. About the diameter of the supplied speaker wire I've been wondering. When unpacking I had a small module in your hands and a few moments later, a rather flat device that is in the picture at Amazon right of the woofer. Honestly, I admit that I have not given me when ordering so much concerned about what this flat box is supposed to be. It turned out that this is to the Receiver for rear speakers. The module is plugged into the back of a BR player interface and the Receiver should be placed behind the own seating position. The rear speakers are actually not wireless, because they are connected by very normal cable up to the mentioned Reciever. Sure, the signal is transmitted to the Receiver from the BR player wirelessly from across the room. Does it make sense? Yes, it may make sense if your room is larger, with me the distance from the player to the Receiver is only 6 m. If you have to lay cables only limited possibilities, but otherwise I can only advise against it. The Receiver also still needs additional power. The setting has worked wonderfully. Internet and also joining Reciever and player worked well. I had sometimes disconnections in the rear speakers. I did not want to further investigate it because I'm a total regardless of the many positive things that I have already mentioned still dissatisfied.
