However Katsa uses her gift not only for Randa commands. To put its injustices and those of other kings something contrary, it has established the Council, which it has set itself the task of helping people in all the kingdoms, get the other no help.
One of these secret orders of the Council she met Bo, one of the princes of Lienid, know who is a donee also and whose grandfather has just saved, what do you not yet aware at the time. When he follows her to Randa Castle, both begin to train together because Katsa initially believes he is blessed with the gift of the fight. They slowly get closer and between them initially developed a kind of friendship.
However, this seems to break almost as Katsa finally finds out what is his true gift, and that he has lied about it. But since they already have deep feelings for him, she wants to try to get over, and both eventually make together on the way to other kingdoms to find out who has kidnapped Bos grandfather.
In her long and arduous journey, the two come closer and closer and finally to a pair, as well Katsa their feelings for Bo finally admits.
Bo does not seem to be the only recipient, who hid his gift sent. Katsa and he must make a horrific discovery that demands them much and puts their lives at serious risk, since apparently only Bo and another person to be able to defend itself against this particular gift.
Grace Ling gave me much better like in the end, when I had thought possible. At the beginning of the book could not inspire the way I had expected after all the promotion and the many positive reviews me. However, this was perhaps the fact that I had Katsas gift imagined completely different.
But after the first 100 pages of the plot succeeded, to captivate me more and more and at the end of the first part (of three) out there was quite interesting to see what then until the end of the book ever increased, so I absolutely know wanted, as the action would continue.
Also Katsa which I rather skeptical about at the beginning, I was always sympathetic throughout the book. The relationship that develops between Bo and her, also makes a major contribution to my positive opinion about the book. Bo is a wonderful character. He respects and loves Katsa them as it is. In addition, he can live with the fact that Katsa never wants to get married and does not even try, they retune and change it.
The author has succeeded me - contrary to my initial opinion - to convince fully and has missed a bit of a shock to me, even after the actual climax of the action. I would really like to know how it goes with Bo and Katsa and hope that I learn in the novel about Bitter Blue, in which both will emerge in any case, something about it.
I can really recommend this book to anyone, even if one is not necessarily a fan of fantasy and / or juvenile novels, because this book is really well done and suitable for all ages.
