The Sony Xperia Z1

Design: The design of the Xperia Z1 is aimed at Sony conventional design strategy. I have the Xperia Z-series perceived as too clunky and a bit strange beginning. But when I got to hold the Xperia Z from my cousin in his hands, I was surprised how good it is but feels! That motivated me to me the Xperia Z1 to order and I have to say, all will find it too bulky, but I got used to very quickly to the format and find it excellent! It feels valuable and some cooling. Even with the grease lubrication through the glass, it has its limits!

Preformance: I had a lot of smart phones, the S4 from Samsung, a Nexus 5 by Lg, a G2 of LG and many more. And quite honestly. In terms Preformance it is on par with the Nexus 5 and beats all Samsung smartphones are throttled by Touchwiz in lengths! It all comes down smoothly and without Rückler even at current graphically demanding games. I'm excited. Why a Snapdragon 801 when this Snapdragon 800 also does?

Display: I know the reports on 2 different displays. I have probably a good Caught because for me, the viewing angle stability is (I ordered here on Amazon) in fine. Otherwise, the display is sharp and bright enough to everything also represent in the sunlight. Colors on videos or photos are reproduced fine.
-> 4.5 / 5 because newer smartphone have better display, but the difference is in the details.

Battery life: At first I thought oh oh Sony and eternal battery problem. But not with the Z1. After the familiarization phase of the battery, it is pretty neat. Even after upgrading to 4.4.4 Anroid (yes, that is available for Sony smartphones already;)) he has Just Got Better! Great. I come loose during the day, even when I was a little way games :) Keep it up!

Software: Sony typically discreet, quick and sensible expanded. The music player is the better standard music player to there in my opinion. Also the fact that Sony installed generally little own stuff, not like Samsung with its 20 Apps is exemplary! The Small Apps round the whole thing off just fine :)

Camera: The camera of the Z1 is good. Nothing earth-shattering but konkurrenzfähg other smartphones of yesteryear. The only thing that bothers me is that the camera in the overlying automatic makes only 8 megapixel images. And I have to put everything on manually to 20 megapixels. The 20 Megapixel images are but great! :)
-> 4/5 because other manufacturers solve the better!

Other: The Xperia Z1 is waterproof. Super, which is so great because I'm outside a lot and not be afraid of rain must .. or in summer from unwanted bad: P Despite Waterproof It can be easily loaded with a docking station. Because the Xperia Z1 has a magnetic charging point on the side. This is just unbelievable good. Man puts his smartphone in the charging station and does not need anything more to do. No annoying charger cable plugged in. Nothing!
-> 5/5 I find the features of the Z1 are useful and well done!

Conclusion: Short and sweet. It is a smart phone which I can highly recommend to anyone who wants a preformantes smartphone, which is not quite as expensive (400 for the Equipment are okay) and which is waterproof! Geb it as soon no longer her :)

!! Update after 3-4 months !!

Have now some software updates and obtain'm really satisfied with the overall package. It is also in Sony Smartphones apparently not so, which is slower to update the smartphone software but actually faster. I still can not festellen Preformanceeinbrüche or other software problems even after very many apps. This has all in all with the quick updates of Sony programs (Walkman, Album, etc. which I found very useful and very good feel) more of the brand Sony convinced me :)

Conclusion: Even after 3-4 months, I can recommend this smartphone very If you want to have the latest technology do not necessarily need but still a very very good smartphone that survived certainly 2 without real trouble!
