Why we chose the Bosch MUM56S40? What is important to us in a food processor?
* They must be easy to handle
* They must not be too large because it is always on the desktop
You must look halfway smart, because they always just within sight is (the devices are stowed in boxes and laboriously need to be evacuated, are too rarely used)
* You must have enough power to knead dough from flour 1kg
* The possibility for a Standmixaufsatz must be there
* The price must be reasonable
* Other customers should have made as few bad experiences with it :-)
All these points included in the product range a, which ultimately the devices of two manufacturers were left (Bosch and Kenwood), because the really good machines from KitchenAid are purely priced from a financial perspective more than cheeky.
From the Kenwood Prospero 286 out of the question because the performance and features comparable to the Bosch and the price only slightly higher. However, Prospero 286 was already partially scathing reviews, mainly because of the rather cheap and plastic-heavy design.
So it was the Bosch MUM 56S40 that we have now for about a month in use. So far, I can say the following:
For machine:
+ Modern design looks very pleasing and falls in the kitchen barely on (although it is right in the field of view)
+ Simple operation
+ High-quality look at the machine, bowl, dough hook, impact and beaters
+ Practical bag for storing the cutting discs and agitator. The bag is placed in the bowl and is thus always at hand, if one uses the machine.
+ Extensive accessories with the food processor, blender attachment, juicer and mincer
- The blender attachment is made of plastic. At this price, a glass top is apparently not feasible.
- The juicer is nice, but for us not really make sense, unless you pressed large quantities of oranges. For a lemon in between the building and the cleaning is not worthwhile.
To use:
+ The strong engine has been kneaded dough Germ of 1 kg of flour, 4 eggs, 150 g sugar, 400 ml milk. The bowl was there indeed already quite full, but the engine has worked without difficulty.
+ The engine is running at kneading then so low that our guests an open kitchen despite the ongoing food processor did not notice. After all, she was only about 3.5m from the dining table away.
+ Despite the large amount of dough, the machine showed himself no weaknesses. Of course, the arm of the food processor with increasing strength of the dough moves relatively strong, which has not been expected by the planetary stirrer but different. Who does not want to, willy-nilly have to resort to full-metal version of KitcheAid.
+ The machine is easy to clean. The metal Rühschüssel can be given in the dishwasher (which is not at all so, as some bowls on the ground a plastic attachment as slide stops have).
+ Shredding of vegetables is quite fast and easy. The sectional view in cucumber slices is as perfect as in zucchini pins.
- Setting up the run Schnitzler is a fumble. So far we have not managed to put it simply, the part to the food processor. A bit of trial and error is always there.
All in all it was a very good decision to buy this food processor. The work order is very pleasant, the cleaning goes slightly out of hand, the cooking and baking results are very good. The cinnamon rolls were just perfect.
I would highly recommend this machine every ambitious amateur cook, because it focuses on price and performance in a very good ratio. The professionals then engage safely to more expensive models.

Update 11/24/2014:
----------------------
Meanwhile, we were able to work and find neat with the machine that the Bosch kitchen appliance visually making not only her. Especially the two stollen for Christmas season were a test for the machine.
Two yeast dough, each consisting of 1kg flour, two eggs, 350ml milk, 400g butter, 100g almonds, 200g Citronat and orangate and 250g raisins, kneaded in succession not even prepared the food processor a hint of problems. And although the individual weight per weight was about two kilograms. Not bad.
The doughs were kneaded very homogeneous and the tunnel are beautiful risen. Just as they should be. The taste, we can only judge in 14 days, because as long as the good pieces must rest now. But for the taste I can not blame the machine anyway :-)
The acquisition of the additional mixing bowl made of plastic (for cost reasons, it was not made of stainless steel), incidentally, was a very good decision. So I was able to let go both batters each in a bowl and did not have to migrate.

Update 4/21/2014:
----------------------
For half a year we have been working regularly with the Bosch kitchen appliance. She runs and looks like on the first day. Also intensive use you could previously not harm. Initially, we used it only for "big jobs" because we were still in the old scheme simple. This has greatly changed. Meanwhile, the accessory bag from the bowl is moved in a closet and the whisk always plugged. Also for stirring the little things food processor is used now.
I share my experiences like. Was this review helpful, then I would be happy with a click on YES. If there is no information, then leave just a comment I read all :-)
