Customer Review

Siren charms, so it is now the 11th album of Sweden's flagship band In Flames. And you can tell the guys go about their chosen path of musical realignment consistently. Melodic Death Metal you really will now no longer on Siren Charms, rather Modern Alternative Metal with slight Popsequenzen.
I have the album yesterday (Amazon goodness) repeatedly heard through headphones, in the car and of course loud on the stereo system. And I must say, my verdict is quite positive.
In Flames are more brave, and try more new things.
After the first hearing, I was very skeptical, no heavy riffs, only clean vocals and some tunes that seemed trendy and very chaotic sounded.
But with each further passage ignited the songs with me more and more. It is worth listening to this album several times before it is finally assessed.
Fans of the first hour are expected, likely to be very enthusiastic about Siren charms, for me personally stand out In Flames now positively from the crowd.
The album is mostly kept quiet, but offers a lot of variety when you're getting into it.
A song like When the World Explodes which starts very hard, and ends with a very nice female and slightly poppy chorus, is emblematic of this album.
In Flames absolutely not going to play it safe, but always go back risks that pay off in my opinion.
This band does not stand still, and that makes them so interesting.
4.3 stars for Siren charms.
