After my ancient hand blender from Braun (300 watt) has given up the ghost, I now have my Multiquick 7 (750W) fetched. I use the device mainly for green smoothies, where I vearbeite also frozen food (spinach, kale, soft fruit) regularly. One thing first: The prerequisite for the smooth running of the mix of frozen products is the addition of 1 to 1.5 times the amount of hot water, so 300g Frozen = 300-450ml hot water. My mother used to Multiquick 5 (600 watts), so I have already collected my experience with the previous model. The fact is that both devices operate very reliably and therefore both are thoroughly recommended. The big difference between the two models lies in the nature of the smoothies. By MQ7 to reach an extremely fine and creamy consistent, which I have not reached the MQ5. Whether it is due to the additional 150 watts, or the fact that you can emulate a "Pulse function" when MQ7 with stepless adjustment of speed, I can not answer definitively you. So if you want to drink smoothies extremely fine and has no desire, several 100 to spend on a high-performance blender like the Vitamix or the Omniblend, which is in my opinion the MQ7 well served!
