1) After turning on the radio searches for the first WLAN and then attempts to load the last station. So it should be yes. But should not be what happened then: The Radio apparently rebooted again, because suddenly it reexamined the WLAN and attempt to load the station ... this time successfully. Why the radio makes this "dual launch," I do not know.
2.) The large rotary knob is really just to navigate through the menu and to select the individual functions. Here would be a dual use desirable as a volume control. Say: If the radio for a few seconds running, the wheel should be automatically populated with the volume control. It is precisely when one uses the device as a clock radio, it annoying animal having to grope in the dark, either by the tiny buttons or the remote control.
3.) The biggest annoyance for me is the alarm function. The one can indeed be programmed so that you can choose whether you want to be woken by the buzzer or one of 5 favorite radio programs. But even if you choose the latter, raises the unit to the (rather loud) buzzer and then asks on display hypocritical if the radio should be turned on. What do I program for the wake-up with the radio station you want, if I will but pulled the annoying buzzer from sleep and yet even asked if I really want to listen to the station?
