I have gained this battery as a replacement battery for my 70D. He is easily recognized by the camera and works reliably. He is barely warm when charging and needs to charge for no longer than the original Canon.
I have a feeling that the Hahnel battery lasts a few pictures less long, than the original but I do not find disturbing.

All in all a very good and cheap alternative.

I would buy it again.
