Small drawback: Until recently, all external hard drives Technically internal hard drive, which had also been infected with a controller board, the IDE or SATA were practically supplied internally via the external USB port. This is not the case here! The hard drive has an internal USB controller and the USB connector is mounted directly on the internal circuit board. This not only has the advantage that manufacturing costs are reduced, but the device will also be smaller, as the additional board of about 2 cm in length can be saved. Especially advantageous for mobile use, of course.
BUT: for market reasons external hard drives are often times cheaper than internal. So who to an external hard drive searches with the intention to expand the actual hard drive from the housing, should this unit so take a bow!
Nevertheless, because I an external hard drive review here, and this is perfectly in this role, which justifies in my eyes no rating deduction, therefore 5 star.
