After I had herumprobiert few times and read the manuals of other buyers on Amazon I was about to send the kettle back. I took the next day but then one more try out the secret of its temperature control come to the then succeeded.
This fact is the real reason for the evaluation with only one star. I hope that by the manufacturer or the German distribution is made aware of the case of maladministration and hopefully future attaches a convenient road.
With the following description I hope other customers with similar problems have to be able to help.
The Klarstein kettle has the following three operating modes:
Boil water A.
B. warm to target temperature.
Cook C. water, then hold target temperature.
Boil water A.
1. Feed water into the pot and place it on the base station.
2. The display shows the temperature of the water.
3. Press once on the Start button, the display shows "100".
4. When no further input is done heats the kettle on to 100 ° C and then switches off.
B. warm to target temperature.
In this mode, the boiler heats the water once to the preselected temperature without holding it. This then goes like this:
1. Feed water into the pot and place it on the base station.
2. The display shows the temperature of the water.
3. Press once on the Start button, the display shows "100".
4. Then by pressing - Set or "+" the desired temperature "".
5. The kettle heats then on to the target temperature and switches off after they are reached. Thereafter, the instantaneous temperature of the water is displayed. He turns then also no longer a when the water cools down and the target temperature is not reached.
Cook C. water, then hold target temperature.
Here the water is first boiled again, let it cool down and as soon as the target temperature falls below reheated.
1. Feed water into the pot and place it on the base station.
2. The display shows the temperature of the water.
3. Then click on "+" or "-" button, the display will show "b40". I suspect the "b" stands for "boil" (= cook).
4. Press "+" or "-" to adjust the target temperature. As you enter the display, eg "B70" flashes.
5. If no further entry is made it will bounce back and shows the current water temperature and begins to heat up.
6. Once 100 ° C are reached switches off the kettle and shows the target temperature (eg "B70").
7. Leaving the pot on the base station are cools the water and as soon as the target temperature falls below it heat up again to the target temperature and thus maintains the temperature.
As far as I could tell, the temperature must however be restarted each new once the pot is removed from the base station.
