Significantly better than the rest of us (more expensive) salad spinner

When our old salad spinner gave up the ghost, we have first a Leifheit model purchased Leifheit 23200 Signature salad spinner. This salad spinner was after moderate use after approximately 11 months break (the cord pulled no longer a). Then we switched to an expensive, manual (with crank) salad spinner of Silit: Silit salad spinner Vitalita with Frischhaltedose. This manual crank principle I know also of the salad spinner of my parents (I found as a child always great) and I thought, since you can not go much broken. We have this salad spinner only since March, but really I do not like them too ... On the one hand is in this salad spinner of Frischhaltedeckel defective (warped in the dishwasher, although he reportedly is dishwasher-safe) and the crank mechanism is difficult.

In short, I was not completely satisfied so far and I am therefore also very pleased about the Moulinex salad spinner! This looks at the picture of me a little different than in real life: The green is not as bright green as on the product image (the images in the item description to show the right color). And the plastic shell looks really almost like a glass bowl. In particular, the transparent plastic shell looks right out of high quality and well. The Green would have personally liked bright even better - but all in all a pretty product.

Properly excited I ended up being the fact that the crank mechanism is easy to operate and very smooth running - a boon compared to our Silit salad spinner - yes, so I knew the well of the past and so I had imagined. Just great! The salad is dry quickly. For this, the plastic shell has a dist-opening through which you can pour out the excess water. Dry the residue quickly and already can the bowl be used as a nice salad bowl.

We use use way also from time to time as a colander. (Again, this is more comfortable than the high compared to Silitschleuder - nothing wobbles, etc. ... in Silitschleuder is the use of soft, flexible material, which we personally do not like so much).

CONCLUSIONS: This salad spinner is significantly cheaper than our other models - plus better. Deserved 5 stars - the Moulinex salad spinner I give her no more!
