What did I expect?
I had a PS3, but I sold an acquaintance for his little brother. Further
WD was a player around with me, due to age of 3 years damn lazy 1TB - with plates
MKV files read it and open.
Accordingly, I wanted a player who is not only quiet but also pretty fast and if possible
is open to all formats. (Yes, NTFS drives are also recognized)
I've definitely found in this Blu-Ray player.
The picture and sound quality, I can not quite as good evaluate how other users:
as I said, I had the PS3 connected BluRay players on a Oelbachkabel (the cable
by the way, still operate). A Dolby system, I did not, it works for me
Sony amplifier at two large magnate Supreme 2000 boxes.
The sound is great for a 2.0 system! That was, however, even before that.
For image quality: be BluRays I think equally well reproduced as with the PS3.
MKV's seen as class like about the WD-player (only that everything as I said quickly
is processed).
However, a significant increase in quality is the upscaling of DVD's:
WOW !!! The quality seems to me almost as good as Blu-Rays! When striving I am convinced,
that the good old DVD will not die quite so quickly, how is it done at CD's!
Incidentally, I would like to say a few words about why I just bought this player:
I wavered between the previous model LG-BD670 (nearly 50 euros cheaper) and reviewed here BP620.
One argument for my decision was the volume: the old model has a fan, the new no longer!
According silent is the player and even at night in quieter sound reproduction it is barely audible
(Except at the beginning when reading is booming drive a little)
The second Arguement was the design. I find this much more beautiful than that of the predecessor.
I hope I could be some help you with your purchase decision!
