My wife has bought the four animals for our son (15 months). He finds it amazing. Although the material does not smell very strong, however, the injection animals are "Made in China" - pollutants are here quite possible, though today almost all toys (including quality) comes from Asian countries. Definitely missing a ecolabel or similar - but that would be for the price probably expecting too much. One should be careful, therefore, that younger children do not take the animals in his mouth.
