Commissioning:
The mobile phone underneath the battery takes two SIM cards in mini-Sim (2FF) format (ie no micro-SIM (3FF) and no nano-Sim (4 FF) are used). For each Sim card change the battery must also be removed in addition to the rear panel. A MicroSD card (up to 32GB) can be used when the rear panel has been removed.
Advantages:
+ Long battery life (allegedly according to data in standby with two SIM cards 24 days): I could not check, however, seems unrealistic to me. After charging the battery, I lost two segments alone through the Configuration / initial setup of the phone to charge. Nevertheless, I assume that a battery charge lasts much longer than with a touch screen phone. Several days should be possible with average use entirely.
+ Intelligent two SIM cards management: It can be decided for each outgoing call is on the phone from which card. The same applies to the sending of SMS. It can be assigned different ringtones per SIM card, but not for each individual contact. Something tricky hidden - but it works: From the MicroSD card and MP3 files can be used as a ringtone. It can be set separately for each SIM card diversions. It can be a single SIM card offline.
+ Favorable price / entry phone
+ A dedicated flashlight LED on the top is available (Survival-Friends).
+ 5 freely programmable alarm
Disadvantages:
- The mobile phone supports Bluetooth 3.0. However, the Bluetooth profile (Headset / Handsfree) for a Bluetooth handsfree is missing. I can not understand that a phone that comes in 2014 with Bluetooth on the market, does not support Bluetooth profile for a speakerphone.
- Contacts: You can assign the phone each contact only one phone number. With a dual sim mobile phone I expect on this point a little more intelligence (and it really does not require high-end Snapdragon CPU). Even without dual SIM phone comes a lot of phone numbers per contact together: fixed network private, fixed-line company, mobile home, mobile company, etc.
- Factory settings: After I had decided to return the phone, I wanted to reset it by factory settings. Then I called on the phone to enter a "security code" on. This security code is of course not in the supplied instructions. A quick check under Google fostered the default security code 12345 for days. This makes the mobile phone was reset to factory settings. A short test messages showed, however, that the mobile test-SMS and the SMS Ubisoft (see below) had not been deleted. Under default settings, I understand the satisfaction of all personal user data on the device. Here Nokia / Microsoft must make improvements.
- CAUTION parents: strange fraudulent mentality for fixed games by Gameloft / Ubisoft. The mobile phone has a demo version of Gameloft / Ubisoft, among others for the following game: Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. This game can be alluding three times for about 90 seconds and will then be bought. Unintentionally I bought for 1.99 the game - because abortion is apparently synonymous with buying, the automated purchasing process is anything but transparent. Subsequently can be for me no longer understand what I did wrong immediately after the demo phase and whereby the unintended purchase was initiated. An English SMS of 88044 then declared that one should enter the code 54559 in the game. But the game has no way to enter the activation code, but offers only two options for the demonstration phase: a URL to a general support site of Gameloft and a new fee-based acquisition of another useless activation code. This demo games can not be uninstalled and then waits permanently Eurograbber trap unwary / ignorant users. Because of this incident I have not tested any other preloaded games from Gameloft / Ubisoft.
Conclusion: I did not have high expectations for an entry-level mobile phone and had accepted some compromises - nevertheless I have been of Nokia / Microsoft (and the enclosed software from Gameloft / Ubisoft) really disappointed. It may each weigh for themselves whether it can live Frustfrei with the mentioned shortcomings in daily use. IMPORTANT for gamers: Settings-> connections-> Flight mode (ie all network connections disconnect) is played before, so you will not accidentally cashed by Gameloft / Ubisoft by unlock codes.
