So forth with a new one! And since he is already, the Amazon best sellers according to the new DIN 13164 of January 2014 and - according to the reviews - wonderful long shelf life (typically 5 years). And even with a particularly notable (?) Space blanket as unique selling point!?! Super! Bring it on!
When receiving becomes clear why there are two images in the article description, one black, one red, although this is no choice. Namely you have no choice. So I get a red first aid kit, although not visually match the interior but it is good to see even in the dim light.
A positive feature is the little booklet with the immediate measures at the accident place, rules of conduct and further information on which is emblazoned with the Maltese logo (although the Leina-Werke on the website make its cooperation with the DRC in the foreground). That's basically really great and safe for many a future reference value, but that you have to manage for now.
On a postcard-sized booklet not even the information in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Turkish and Polish are printed on each side ... and that at the same time! Despite reading glasses it's an imposition on (for clarity) two fingers width 17 lines of text to accommodate, ie about 8 lines on a finger! Should the one stop you from using the book as a reference at the scene, because you would have already to memorize? An educational measure? If you would really need in an emergency and will make right everything wisely, then help one of these "Fliegenschiss" Unfortunately, nothing! So people: read and memorize. Or better yet, the advertised on the back of Malta First Aid Course (with defibrillation! Because one always has a case ...) to book.
The booklet is incidentally not a bonus but standard equipment in accordance with DIN 13164. Here times quickly the required content:

I think it would be better if one sold in Germany first aid kit would be limited to the German language in favor of readability and the book simply would a larger format.
On the DIN-list is also the emergency blanket the Product, so the eye is looking for a silver or gold foil. Wrong! But it is upon closer inspection a while! May look a bit like sticking plaster, but who can read is a clear advantage. I once set a photo.
Very positive is the designated long availability of sterile products. On the Verbadstasche is 2014-04, that is April 2019 indicated (bag was purchased in May 2014). On all sterile products but there is 2019-07, so in July 2019. There was therefore an understatement. Here, too, I have set a photo.
