Not all adapters are recognized by Android smartphones as AC (power outlet), but only as USB power from the PC.
This USB mode provides insufficient power under full load.
After Wicked Chilli have finally brought out a revised version of 2.0 free of errors,
I slammed.
My test went like this:
1x 680km highway
GPS and Navigation Sygic active
Connected Bluetooth active and hands-free
100% brightness
= Phone was fully charged, despite stress. AC mode recognized in the settings.

Also has 2 devices simultaneously worked great (Galaxy Nexus & HTC One S)
The adapter looks in my Renault Kangoo 2014 out 5mm.
No point deduction, because it is very minimal.
I think the car is dependent on how deep the 12V connection.
A disturbing status LED on the adapter I do not miss.
Can only recommend disen adapter.
