This device I would recommend NOT under these circumstances!

For completeness: My original review.
When yesterday morning my elderly Saeco fully automatic (about 15 years, he became old and has seen many boiler and Brühgruppenwechsel behind) adopted a short-circuit, I knew that I have to get a replacement. Although I had some equipment in the view, but I am not prepared to scroll four-figure sums for a coffee machine: No - this is not required.
After some research, I realized the Saeco Minuto, which not only impresses with an attractive appearance, but also by its consistently good reviews and a relatively reasonable price: Seen - bought.
Since I am without my morning coffee terribly bad mood, I chose the Evening Express, which also - as one is accustomed Amazon - has been properly fulfilled. Even at night, against 18:30 clock, the device arrived with me and it was already getting ready to start.
When unpacking the ordinary processing noticed that unfortunately has to get a point deduction: On the inside of the display glass is a fingerprint :( Because you have to look already more precisely to discover him, I can ignore it would be a more expensive device. However, the Exchanges have been a reason.
Well: we make the machine ready.
The necessary steps for a first coffee are quite simple:
Build machine -
- Connect
Pour water and coffee beans -
- Let 2x perform cleaning run
- Adjusting the grinder
- Finished
Well almost :)
After 15 minutes, the first coffee came in the cup.
Exultation I could not, because the first attempts were really watery and weak, but after a few more tests with different grinder settings were exactly the coffee I was already accustomed to the "predecessor": Perfect.
The machine can conjure up not just coffee and espresso, milk froth, hot water for tea and spendieren to clean itself: Comfortable. The strength of the coffee can be adjusted well about the "flavor" setting.
What the product description does not reveal right away: The Minuto can also prepare each 2 cups of caffeinated hot drink. For this you have to press the corresponding key 2x easy :)
The machine remains on for approximately 30 minutes before it cleans itself (it does after every off and before each power) and adopted in the standby mode.
Too bad: The device comes with only a quick start guide and a warranty card - a detailed guide in vain and so I have not yet figured out how I can adjust the water hardness.
Water tank and bean trade are relatively small and must be refilled as often with frequent usage
Nice addition: The package was also a Tchibo voucher for a kilo of "Barista Coffee" worth 15.
All in all I am very satisfied with the device so far, but can only give 4 stars because of the smaller "defects" (small water tank and bean container, finger on the display).
Who is looking for a relatively inexpensive fully automatic, safe buys a decent machine with the Minuto.
