For if in the first episode, the starter pack contains 3 full adventure (Pirates of the Caribbean, The Incredibles, Monsters Academy), with this release 2.0 there is only one departure Adventure (Avengers). An extremely lightweight content so for a starter pack which price is the same as the starter pack of Disney Infinity 1 (or Skylanders packs).
Sure, it's nice to play with Iron Man or Thor in Marvel Universe, but the game price / time ratio here is very limited. It will quickly revert to the cashier to get the other two adventures available - Guardians of the Galaxy and Spiderman for 25-30 each.
The Toy Box has been improved, it is a very good point, but this update could be offered to all owners of Disney Infinity 1 per download.
For the rest (technical quality, gameplay), we remain more or less the same strengths and weaknesses as in the first set. In other words, nothing transcendent.
I think Disney has pushed too far by the concept of games content extensible by the figurines. Skylanders has a much more acceptable formula, with a video game which can enjoy and consequent life, and figurines that can be bought just for fun, not because we are obliged to do for extend a game otherwise too limited.
Finally, we can only regret that ultimately the promise of "infinity" of the title is not required, as each edition of the game forces us to buy a complete new starter pack, instead of extending the game originally purchased.
