For my purpose (backup of a previously installed Notebook HDD) enough. One should not expect miracles for this price. This case makes me the impression of a "lunchbox" in miniature. The built-in SATA controller does its job properly, even under Win 8.1.
Who is looking for just a quick, cheap way to transfer data from the system to an external HDD, is so well looked after.
