The package I think, designed for such a high-quality device somewhat carelessly.
Shaver plus accessories, it all looks somehow "thrown" out.
Well, the main thing the protection is provided, the packaging engineers have already something in mind ...
Otherwise you will notice when you unpack already that this is a high-quality device.
The perceived quality of the parts is very good.
So I charged the razor once.
When plugging the power supply came the first surprise; the LED display looks very futuristic with all sorts of information and is easy to read.
Added to this are acoustic signals R2D2 Greetings ;-)
The loading went very fast.
Thus came the first use.
Here I have to say that the power switch must be pressed with considerable force in my device yet.
So I know that no other razor.
Whether that is so desired by Philips I can not judge ...
I usually do not shave smooth but have a three-day beard.
So I've only once shaved me with the smallest adjustment of Beard stylers.
When you first turn I was pleasantly surprised; Philips is really very quiet.
Nevertheless, he has a lot of power, the unit is quite heavy and the engine caused a small "rebound" when starting - an indication of the force.
It shows clearly while shaving, confidently slides the trimmer through the hair, no twinge.
The Bart Tyler essay has good ergonomics and also slides well on the skin.
So I changed the attachment and used to 3X shaving head.
Here falls on matter how incredibly flexible the individual shaving heads are stored.
When Smooth Shaving one notices also again the power of the engine.
Even by the resistance of whiskers can power not to.
The shaving head, the face shape fits great and "rattle" the whiskers just as it.
Shaving comes with the Philips faster than average.
The result is very good, the skin really smooth, no scratches.
Also, I have no skin irritation, as I often get a few minutes after shaving razors with others.
Conclusion:
For me definitely the best razor I had before.
Performance, function and quality are the Philips S9031 / 12 peak.
The 5 stars are more than deserved!
