I have the LG repeatedly compared before buying the Samsung UE40HU6900, read reviews and test reports, but my primary selling point was already a high sharpness of movement and that is the LG 40UB800V almost brilliant. The native frame rate is probably estimated at "only" 100-120 Hz, but is transformed by combining with other image enhancement tools (including backlight control) at the end of a class picture quality.
HD channels, free TV or even at Sky (most unfortunately "only" 1080i) act by the "upscaling" once sharper and more defined.
The Magic Remote Control is also a nice gimmick, incl. Voice control.
Smart TV (incl. Pre-set services like Amazon Prime Instant Video, Watch Ever, max cathedrals etc.) for me is really just a side effect, but a good thing that you can use it any time.
Surely find the "Tech-Nick" among us here and there is always a small flaw, but I as a John Doe consumer find the instrument excellent!
If in future 4k Input via satellite or cable will be available (is probably unfortunately still take), you are safe and well-served with the TV.
The current incredibly convenient Amazon price of Euro 399, - has given at the end absolutely decisive, although 40 inches safely represent the lowest size limit, but to me it is sufficient completely.
Have researched on the Internet the way to the EIA and the lay with the sales start (approximately summer 2014) at Euro 999, -, so that you really can not go wrong here.
