The meat does not burn on the grill top and can turn easily. In general, the device is enormously hot - the meat sizzles and sprotzelt almost like in a frying pan, and where we're at it: even the pans are pretty hot, is something to be topped with cheese works flawlessly and is a delight.
The cleaning is unproblematic, fat and cheese residues could be easily from the pan and the top grill with a sponge and a little detergent scrub. Do not clean with steel wool: otherwise the coating is guaranteed destroyed!
