with 3 different remotes, now had to be a universal remote control.
By Amazon I then met with the Harmony 300.
The Harmony 300 is characterized for me by its simple and intuitive way of handling. It comes without a lot of bells and whistles, therefore, yet offers everything one would expect from a universal remote control.
Installation is done in seconds and also the configuration is super easy by hand. Simply connect to your PC, install software, select Devices and schonn can start the configuration.
The Harmony 300 has set for each device already has its own configuration, which can be maintained at 95% so.
I only had to make for the home theater system one way or another change and "learn" commands only 2 of the original FB. (Select First, the system of 5.1 Sorrund for normal TV usage and the other to open the drive)
The "learning" is also a breeze with the Harmony 300. The adjacent menu will be the first of the name of the function to be learned input and activates the corresponding key on the original FB in connection. Once the Harmony 300 has recognized the command, it appears in the menu and can be immediately placed on a corresponding tactile.
All in all, I'm with the Harmony 300 more than satisfied.
So if you want to control no more than 4 devices and can do without a display in the FB, is with the Harmony 300 exactly to the right place.
