Since I wanted to have a companion for traveling, I bought myself the Netbook in Black. The mind by Amazon went super quick as ever.
First off, the optics, which I find very well done! ;)
The cover is exceptional and it is also nice and light.
The keyboard gives me good, since I have anyway EHR smaller hands and the pressure point seems sufficient. Really good I think the anti-glare display - so is sitting in the sun no longer an obstacle!
I installed with the help of a USB stick Ubuntu. There are various versions of Linux, but I wanted to a German-language operating system therefore seemed Ubuntu to be a good choice. I never imagined the ISO file downloaded so and also the program "Linux Live USB Creator" (can be downloaded at Chip.de) was on board. With this program, it was not a problem to make the bootable USB (USB stick is formatted - up data do not forget!) And to install Ubuntu on a USB drive later on Netbook. Ubuntu runs smoothly and I am satisfied. Although I have to as Windows users only get used a bit to it, but why would you not even an open source software like Linux give a chance? (Even if one has no experience with it? XD)
I'm satisfied through and through and can only recommend to anyone, to buy for the variant without an operating system, but with more memory. (If you do not too much of the user interface of Windows depends XD) For me, the purchase was worthwhile in any case, and Ubuntu was not difficult aufzuspielen! ;)
The battery life is for WLAN use, word processing software and music good six hours - which is neat in my opinion. Especially since the laptop from my cousin just to 2 hours is * grin *
