Good idea, implementation Terrible!

as well all the flirting with this product, I have no antenna socket in the bedroom. To spare me the boring through the walls and the annoying embarrassed by coaxial cable and cable channels, I was looking for a radio system.

My requirements are simple: analog cable TV, digital set-top box without, cable box or the like. Here, however, began already to the problems. Most system to transmit a signal only in the situation and that's why I was glad to have found this system here, which has a built-in tuner on the device.

Goods arrived relatively quickly, all unpacked and connected. Since I still do not have a TV in Wohnzimemr, initially I was amazed that I just needed a TV next to the station to set up the device. That meant degrade TV in the bedroom and the whole drag and build up in the living room and connected to the analogue TV can.

The first disillusionment was already beginning with the remote control. This does not even work properly at a distance of 50cm. At first I thought the supplied batteries are "old" and I donated the FB a set of new batteries, unfortunately without improvement. The FB only worked when it finishes at the built-in IR receiver has targeted. Add to that the pressure point of the FB keys was extremely poor. You had to literally force pressing the buttons to trigger a command. With all this I would can live, why is there universal FB, I would have taken my Harmony.

After a quite cumbersome erstinstalaltion, I was very disillusioned already in the living room. Not only that the tuning took forever, and the menu navigation of the device reminded me of my old Beta Max VCR from the 80s. The background menu was maximum quality in teletext, but monochrome, colors reminiscent of the background from the C64 in a blue / gray.

Already in the living room, I had a totally snowy picture, transmitters and receivers were just 30cm apart !! At first I thought a lot of light OK the units are too close together and the antenna is not properly aligned, so I built the receiver from TV and receiver and dragged back into the bedroom. There the realization: The instrument is useless! A picture full of snow, as was the case at times of indoor antennas in the 80's.

The poor reception was doing nothing to do with the walls, with us drywall is installed. The transmitter and the receiver had not even in the immediate vicinity (visual contact spaced 30-50cm) good reception. I am also of the were convinced the device completely OK, so a defect, I would rule out.

For this quality, 5,00EUR themselves are too much! The device is unfortunately useless, no matter what frequency range of this device is also always! I can purchase from (unfortunately) only advise.
