Actually, that sounds easy. The negative report to the housing are correct. Screws are scrap, cooling can not exist, because there is no visual contact or even a connection / locking between HDD and housing. I do not know where there will take place a heat exchange HDD enclosure except via the air. Whoever finds that the housing "nice and cool" is is right, because hot is probably only the plate.
This could still be alive, and I was prepared, based on existing reports.
But it gets even worse - A look at the built-in electronics housing can then a shudder.
The few electronic and esp. The SATA connectors, stümper- and unprofessionally forged in the worst way on the board. Another choice of words I can not find this. Complete hand soldering "made in the Far East", as it is cheap ...
Even with all SMD components, the manual work is not to be overlooked.
Everywhere roll around Zinnperlen, insbesonder between angepappten contacts of SATA Steckverbindes.
For "only" 12.99 I expect that I can entrust my data such part, because it was supposed to be as safe as the HDD itself.
But then you do not need a functional test which is part of a time bomb, is part of Amazon quickly withdrawn from circulation! It's just a joke, something to sell at all.
So fingers for all who value off on reliability!
If necessary, I like to do some photos! Actually, these are zero stars, is not, unfortunately!
