It is powered by a new Toshiba 32 RV 635er Television 'normal' (via HDMI) and a hi-fi (RCA). This setup provides a sharp picture and a rich tone. Even Standard TV usually looks as good as high-definition (see, for hairstyles. B. not flat out, but you can see every single hair). In direct comparison with the replaced Skymaster DX-25 (3 years old) of Comag is visible sharper.
The only slight drawback is that sometimes a bit cumbersome management of the remote control, I'd sometimes want a direct access (eg. As for a brief message sent to the program). But you get used to it quickly.
And that the automatic aspect ratio adjustment does not work 100%, seems to be all on the market as TVs. Ok, you press stop times the Quick button on the Toshiba remote control and adjusts to. One also wants to have something to play ...
But now the little sensation: Yesterday I first played around with the video recorder function and am completely thrilled. An unused because of the PC to small hard drive with 160 GB in a 3,5'-housing, formatted to NTFS, was immediately recognized, and all JPG and MPG files can be easily read. The board did not have to be reformatted.
The Comag offers a dozen timers that can be programmed as a 'normal' VCR. The picture quality of the recorded material is as good as the original TV picture (no additional noise). You can start recording by timer or by hot key, if one just the current program is (assuming the hard drive is switched on) important.
During my tests I had taken 10 minutes ARD while zapped through all programs. Of course, I expected that the uptake would be 'verzappt'. No, the Comag had only the ARD program included! In plain English: You can record a program while continuing to look at all other programs. The device thus somehow works with a dual tuner function. I did not know before buying and am still positive surprises.
I am rarely satisfied with a product like this TV receiver, but here I give my full recommendation.
