Stardust acts in many ways in a positive way, as a fantasy tale from another time. It takes the best of the genre and sets very well re own whole. The same can be said of composer Ilan Eshkeri. Its soundtrack is in the tradition of classical orchestral scores and has the range of impressions you'd expect from such a soundtrack. One hears drama, adventure, a little secret, there is pace, but also set times quieter moments, emotions and beautifully worked out fleet rousing themes accents. And when I say, it reminds all of classical orchestral scores, has a number of reasons. On the one hand seems Eshkeri fan of classical music to be, he lets into his music but scores of major composers such as Johann Sebastian Bach incorporated. But the varied style of John Williams or the 'Lord of the rings' scores of Howard Shore were unmistakable Pate. But these are now not the worst sources of inspiration. If Eshkeri their class - of course you have to almost say - not even reached his musical homage is but succeeded. With 'Stardust' was Eshkeri still in its infancy. He now has a great personal style, he proved with his last score to '47 Ronin ', the film clearly dominates in terms of quality.
