+ Backups run in the background properly unnoticed without performance penalty. 7 minutes per 256GB SSD backup. Connection directly to the Mac (sometimes, on the way), or the powered USB 3.0 hub with a new chipset (Ulink Anker® Uspeed USB 3.0 7-Port Hub with 12V 3A power adapter / power supply and USB 3.0 cable [VIA VL812 chip set]). (For safety depends disk always at the hub)
+ Comes (quite expensive, so if you buy it) with NTFS driver for Mac. Mac can now read NTFS-formatted disks and format by Disk Utility on NTFS.
+ Is not even lukewarm.
+ USB connector is firmly attached, cable does not wobble, seems very well made. (Seems to be weakness in many hard drives)
- - About once a day, the hard disk no longer be changed, error -50. Read yes, no write, no trash, no eject. CCC is an error message. Eject not even with Disk Utility possible. So either force eject (not better) or reboot (without problems). This happens with or without a hub.
> They'll be back rueckformatieren on NTFS and use on Windows.
