In the album Endgame is a CD which you have to give time. Personally, I find more and more pleased with this CD, the more times I hear it. It makes for some reason ,, addicted ''. This is not because that I think is great all the songs, but because the overall picture ,, '' somehow true, and it's fun to hear the quite varied pieces.
Architects and Help Is On The Way, two loud early songs, then go with Make It Stop (September's Children) which quietly continues, but this is not bad because the listener hears a beautiful melodic piece here, where a beautiful children's choir used super is.
Disparity by Design: Long hats lasted, but now this song is in second place of my Top 5 list this album (Behind Satellite, before A Gentleman's Coup, Help is on the Way and Broken Mirrors). What / makes this song for me so great horny?
-Geiler Scream of Tim, you have to sing along there! Unfortunately it is a bit too short.
-The Melody of the verses: '' On the way, from the Towers ... '' The way Tim up there is the emphasis is in my opinion really great!
-Bombenintro, Recalls Kotov Syndrome!
-The Only thing that bothers me is the end. Here would like I find again so reingemusst a Scream Passage, as the crowning glory. But you can not bear it!
The piece follows the first real highlight Satellite. Addictive I just say! Consistently high tempo, great chorus (One would sing as smoothly if you could memorize the text :-P), super Lyrics, really great.
Midnight Hands: Top - Scream passage in it, at first I thought they were a bit clumsy, but now she bangs for me!
Survivors Guilt:
Quiet intro, relatively slow-held stanzas quick end -> Good Good, but now nothing special.
Broken Mirrors: When the song came out of the plant, I thought to myself: What is going on now? That's not Rise Against? I've already said that this song is the fifth best song for me. This is simply due to the fact that I think that the song somehow has style! I can not explain why, I hear it now very happy. Intro reminds me very much of Straight to Hell by Rage Against the Machine!
Wait for me: At first I thought it was cheesy, now I think the song for a touching, thought-provoking Pops.
The next highlight of the album: A Gentleman's Coup. Even the title is great, but topped it all through the song itself is: There is no such quickness that Rise Against has won in the past (see Chamber The Cartridge, Kotov Syndrome, Blood Red White and Blue ..) but rather the urgency in the chorus. Here, the background singers Joe and Zach are used super when engaging the piece ,, '' goosebumps warranty is given!
This is Letting Go and Endgame make a good conclusion, but I have to honestly admit that I would have expected from the Track Endgame more. It sounds good, no question, but I would have wished here again a firecracker completion
Conclusion:
You have to listen to a few times, until you realize the potential of the album. There are many tracks that come across live determines class.
It has its downs, but the downs are not as low as the heights are high! (Yikes :-))
My recommendation: First, accept that Rise Against has just embarked on a new course (that should be a true fan do at least) and buy the album !!
Edit:
Something gives me but think: Rise Against played only four songs from the album live That shows me that your songs somehow not live (at least they have on the played only four where I was and else can you find no record about it.) -potential trust ... how will that look like in the future albums?
