-LIEFERUMFANG AND INSTALLATION
______________________________________________________________________________________________________
For me, a new radiator was needed because I still had obstructed the boxed cooler and the just way too loud and the CPU does not properly cooled down so that under load the MAX Temp has been exceeded and the computer crashed so.
I had long been searching for a suitable cooler was searching in forums and I read quite a few reviews and then decided on the Thermalright HR-02 Macho Rev A.
As already often read here, the installation is really quite awkward that is partly because the heatsink is really big on the other hand to the terminal device of the fan.
As see in the picture is the heat sink with 2 "clamp wire" supplied the you plug up and down on the heat sink, you wonder not at installation the two terminals you have to pull with some force down because they are very short to the fan abide by the pressure arising optimally to the heatsink.
In addition to the thermal grease a small yellow plastic card that comes with the thermal paste can be the highlight evenly on the CPU.
The included fan stands up and something that does not bother down on the heatsink during installation and also during operation.
Due to the design of the heat sink is necessary to attach a screw with a screwdriver through the heat sink, this is the cooler, a magnetic screwdriver of good quality at the I use an expansion and now also for other hardware. The cooler fits just so in my midi format Tower, and is therefore not suitable for small computer case EHR.
-THE Cooler in operational
______________________________________________________________________________________________________
I had the radiator long time under different operating system running (Win7 Win8 & Linux Ubuntu)
when I first took the cooler times in this operation was under Win7 to 100% which had me only startled when it set Max speed while still remaining was much quieter than the boxed cooler, but the reviews were not fair.
So I have throttled me SpeedFan Downloaded and the fan speed to 10%, that's enough for normal operation, so look and work completely from simple programs at speed surfing movies is practically inaudible and my processor was not hotter than 55Grad the cooler grinding noises or similar I could not tell.
Also on Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 Runs the radiator Easy and can be adjusted with Speedfan at the right speed is easy.
Ubuntu is SpeeFan or an equivalent program not available, the easiest way is to set the cooler on Ubuntu right through the BIOS. But even under Windows you can set the fan control easily via BIOS.
For my MSI board I press it when displaying the boot screen "Enft" board and go to the BIOS, the BIOS I go to the fan control set to the Hardware Monitor in BIOS under H / W to find.
For that I have the "smart CPU fan target" set at 60 degrees which causes the radiator only from a heat of 60 degrees starts to rotate faster as the radiator during normal operation the CPU but virtually cools can be reached no 60 degrees cooler at me constantly not really audible.
