I'm using the latest drivers, am very satisfied with the sound card, as I also in Games again surround sound can now enjoy via the S / PDIF output on my old 5.1 Receiver.
A small tip, if in Dolby Digital Live no sound or stereo via the digital output:
In the Windows playback devices deactivate the digital output. "Speakers" take the sound card as standard.
Select the software of the sound card S / PDIF output "Dolby Digital Live".
So I get no problems Dolby Digital Live via the optical output.
The case:
It is larger than a normal USB stick but a short USB extension is. But does not bother me, because the sound card is located behind my PC.
The Software:
Is clear and you can make a difference in the sound, as with other sound cards but I do not use these functions.
The connection options:
S / PDIF - perfect with the included S / PDIF adapter.
Analog Output - I have not tested but the attached S / PDIF adapter is plugged in here.
Analog Input - for microphone or line in - also untested.
The conclusion:
Practical USB sound card, if you need one optical output and Dolby Digital Live. Would you like to recommend.
