The app funhktioniert again, there is no more crashes. Very good, thanks to the company!
Unfortunately still the only way to send the blood pressure values only as a screenshot of the trajectory in portrait mode. No table, no image / graph in landscape orientation (= with a better overview of the course)
A very negative point: After nearly three weeks of use, with around three measurements a day I have used two sets of batteries. Needed four AAA batteries. The supplied were certainly not the best, I have then just used a good & low priced product. I do not know whether to keep expensive batteries much longer, will definitely use the device in the long run a very expensive affair.
Now I use an old power supply, which was still at home around, but happens to be just more complicated.
For the working app, it would now be given a star more, but which is now subtracted for the high battery drain again.
Now the old written of me Text:
I have the sphygmomanometer adeVital BPM bought 1401 because of the possibility to transfer the values via an app on my smartphone.
Said in advance:
+ The device measures well, is easy to use.
-The Text in the Operating Instructions are printed very small.
-The Hose between device and cuff might like to be 20cm longer.
I judge here now below even the combination of equipment in conjunction with the app. A simple and good blood pressure monitor you get much cheaper. I am particularly interested to use the values on your smartphone or the transfer to the PC> Print.
Unfortunately, the app does not work properly!
First you have to register with an email address. With my email address could not be done, but there was probably too much of _. (Invalid email address)
Once I've bought a new mail address (where never arrived a mail) and the application worked, the app crashed repeatedly.
Eventually it worked then it out for a few hours, the app also has taken all my values, then went back nothing: Shortly after the launch, the app closes with the information that adeVital was stopped. (See below, my update of the review)
My smartphone is a Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-I9300.
In the time in which worked the app, I wanted to send my values by mail and had to realize that you can send no more than a simple screen shot of the values plotted. I can do with a smartphone also himself.
It would make sense, a mission of the tabular values as a CSV file or similar.
In my telephone call with adeVital was told that the error occurs recently, will fixed later this week (in the app reviews since early January!) And this. Likewise, they told me that the technical details also transfer the tabular values is certainly possible.
I had previously written an email to the company, which was then also answered in the meantime. In it I was told that the current registration and connection failure is known and it is working intensively on a solution to the problem. They hope that the operations are as fast as possible to use properly again. ...
And further you wrote that an advancement for the transmission of data is not currently planned by CSV or similar formats.
- Shame really.
It seems to me that APP has been programmed in a low-wage country. It has not even bothered to texts in a reasonable to translate German. So is (if the app works times) to read about the persecution of the family here in the description of the APP. -D (Well, two users can save the values that a family is not the)
I forgive only one star because the device is being touted in connection with an APP that does not work. Only use with a useful APP makes the device interesting to other (cheaper) devices. If the app still work well this week, there are more stars, Otherwise, the unit returns.
And if it then but soon even be possible, the values in a table, as a file that can be further processed to send, there is a full five stars.
Oh, I discovered an apparently identical device of Ultratec for nearly 50. That's what I should pick up the flash range for the unit of adeVital. This is merely of Ultratec touted with the iOS app.
Update: Crash Cause: Now I have come on it: There must be no Internet connection when the app starts, neither WiFi nor mobile data. Everything off, then start the app, then you can turn on the Internet again. Nevertheless flawed because you can only send a screenshot of the blood pressure values as a curve (eg for printing). No table that you can continue to use the PC. Even bad: There are no instructions. By chance, I discovered that you can delete values when passing over the line and then click Delete. Something you can find only a searcher on the internet.
