The analog receiver (cable) is definitely not possible! Where the TV provides a clear, colorful picture, the stick provides only gray veil with stripes in it, you can see the image, but television is something else.
The digital receiver is equipped with the included software in principle possible, but unstable (many crashes).
Only with the DVB-Viewer (15 euros) you really have a stable image, so it's fun.
The 3 stars it is therefore for the possibility to create a cable receiver in a favorable manner (the 15 euros extra for the software included), as compared to the other receiver sticks to get away so cheap, and so has the same stable Software.
But beware:
With cable Germany the private broadcasters are encrypted !! So if you are looking for a cable receiver stick for cable Germany and not only wants to look public, which must either buy a stick with decent analog reception, or a stick with digital receiver and CI slot and an additional paid subscription (the CI card) with cable Germany.
I use the stick with Kabel BW, because fortunately, all unencrypted programs to receive digital, thus doing the stick what he should.
