The 6-Watt Toshiba LEDs come of it in the light output, although given as 25 watts light output, almost to the above-mentioned halogen bulbs (40W) zoom.
As noted in past reviews, the light color is warm white not quite with the traditional light sources comparable - a little cooler the light appears already here, but it still moves within the acceptable range.
The "power-up" the light output to the dimmers is also not as homogeneous as in the luminous centers previously used - but OK.
After I had come 5 of 7 burners of our lamp with new LED lamps and wanted to test the dimming behavior, a very slight dimming effect was only apparent. The lamp grew at a much higher performance in operation and had only small power shift through the dimmer.
Once I remembered another review, in which a similar effect was described, I have another focal point equipped with an additional halogen candle and - surprise, surprise - the dimming effect was now almost back sooner.
So I have found a compromise whose mystery I have not understood. The lamp is now running with 5 LEDs 6W, a halogen Candle 28 Watt and an unused focal point.
CONCLUSION: All in all I have here produce LED bulbs available that are high quality, a beautiful light, offer acceptable dimming and vigorously conserve power. The unit price of 17.99 plus shipping is currently top but must fall significantly for extensive use of these bulbs yet.
But who wants to be involved in the energy transition, can not and must not ignore this technique.
The power companies have earned top in the last 20 years to the citizens subvensioniertem coal and nuclear power, but even reinvest a minimum in the reconstruction of power grids and ask us again for the energy transition properly to checkout. Only by considerably lower energy consumption, we can respond to it. So much fun to save energy!
