I had already read and appreciated by Linwood Barclay novels and was expecting of it that it fills the same contract: an easy and entertaining read that one should not take too much head and a good plot that we keeps going. This was unfortunately not the case. The plot, however, was promising: a young woman cheats relatives of missing persons into believing it is medium and that has some information about the missing person; Unfortunately, it so happens that it gives too accurate a husband not as tearful as he may suggest. Closing the book, I felt like reading a story in a competition for young authors. In reading other reviews, I learned that it was indeed the beginning of a new and it shows. A priori, I am not opposed to the idea of a "new long" even though I generally prefer novels because most expanded, but what bothered me here is the sometimes coarse side of certain situations and printing of "sloppy" I had sometimes about some developments in history. The frame is promising, the result far less successful. Little mention for the last sentence of the book, which surprises the reader, but the overall impression remains mixed and the novels of Linwood Barclay, without monuments of literature, remain significantly more attractive. Not the best way to find out if you do not know it yet, disappointing if you already know from his other works ...
