I quite liked the first volume "Library of the Dead" because of its original plot, a good book for relaxing summer or train. I am however very disappointed with this second volume, which does not start too bad, but thinking makes too V. Da Code. The author should have avoided venturing into the historical novel, passages "flashback" sometimes border on the ridiculous, especially when in 1527 one of the protagonists living in Paris borrows the "rue Danton" (! And " Boulevard "St Germain (yes, I do not believe my eyes.) What the author and the publisher may have let such an anachronism frightens me, but I guess most American readers which have noticed anything. I think I will not finish this book, or so the second degree!
