Do not charge with the original charger

I had already bought a battery that Weiss was running without problems for my previous 600D. So I bought this battery confidently for my 7D. It is indeed compatible with the camera, all the battery information is displayed by the device. But for my 7D, there has been a big problem.
Upon receipt, the battery was charged at 66%. After the first attempt to recharge the Canon original charger, always the same charge level. The charger light flashing in an abnormal manner (fast and steady beep, which does not match any load level description).
I still continued to use the battery until it fully discharges. I have never been able to recharge. Result I returned.
Too bad, I probably came across a wrong number, but if a quality of Weiss battery varies from one room to another I do not think I bought one.
