I was never a fan of Apple products, and have me then someday the search for a new laptop done, the whole thing was just before the release of Ivy Bridge A few of my friends have a Macbook so I thought me I'm waiting times, the introduction of new equipment from, at first I was disappointed. No significant changes in the 13 inch category (which was critical for me). So I inquired further in the camp of Windows devices, but always kept the configuration of the Macbook Pros / Airs in mind. Now after I had been looking for me for weeks by the Ultrabook range, I came to the conclusion: ultrabooks vs MacBook Airs => priced no difference or Partial was even the Macbook Air the more favorable candidate. For my purposes, however (Every now and then something CAD, Office, etc.) I found, however, the power of the MacBook Airs / Ultrabook insufficient, and so came nurnoch the Macbook Pro in question. No notebook is not currently in my eyes when it comes to handling, performance, and most importantly, take battery life, it with the MacBook Pro. Furthermore, provides the Macbook Pro is the only possibility RAM and disk exchange without authorization. So I bought the Macbook Pro 13-inch in the following configuration: 2.5 GHz dual-core i5 (Ivy Bridge) 8GB Ram 500GB HDD (5400 / min) HD4000 After unpacking I invited the battery until full and then began my exploration tour: The build quality is truly breathtaking, nothing wobbles the keyboard is perfectly inserted and that's typing feel really enormous. The 2Kg you could tell, it's just not air but has a bit more power The keyboard backlighting is also super, can be divided into many stages and set leaves no questions unanswered. The switch to Mac OS garkein problem email accounts are set up within seconds, everything explains itself. Since I bought the Macbook after a certain deadline I got Mountain Lion OS for free. I laid it down on the App Store and it installed perfectly on its own. After some time, the download was possible without problems. Installation takes inclusive Download already its time, but is without any problems. After a few minutes I felt at home in the new operating system. Fascinating, I found the touchpad operation inclusive gestures programmed etc. Everything smoothly and brilliantly. At Last but not least a small set about playing Diablo 3 runs smoothly if you make a few concessions to the quality. Anyway, it's playable
Conclusion: The Macbook Pro 13 must be either before the Macbook Air hide, before the bigger candidates. Those looking for a powerful notebook and is not afraid to test Mac Os gets here really all the heart desires.
Addendum: The fans are for me not really listen, and once you have other noises in the background like a game you can hear nothing more of it
