I bought it to install an SSD on my Mac Pro 2011. According to documentation from the vendor, this version of Icy Dock is compatible, but in practice, it must have a connection problem (using a cable, j 'manage to run the SSD). My advice, check the manufacturer's information at least 3 times and then look at what is said on the web before buying a particular model.
