Do the job! 7

Purchased to protect the fragile screen of my Cintiq, I completely missed my first installation of this protective adhesive. Despite the habit of asking such protections and scrupulous reading of installation recommendations (protection comes with a very detailed manual), the first attempt was disappointing (not bad dust slipped during installation, despite a good cleaning and work in a damp room). Removal and cleaning protection were not enough to resolve the issue.

Eventually I ended up try again in another house (less dusty), again I let the hot water run a few minutes and then I cleaned protection under warm water with a detergent (neutral pH). I rinsed, drained and placed mainly by keeping some water on it (having already bonding with water, this is not really a concern). Finally, it is not absolutely perfect but after a few long minutes spent to turn the bubbles, the result is satisfactory: we still see some bubbles, screen off, but it is still very much to draw. (This is perhaps dust that I have failed to take off during cleaning.)

The protection has a brighter appearance / glossi that the mine of origin and slides perfectly on it. (I have no worries reflections either.) I use markers mines (I got a stock for less scratch the bare screen) and these leave some traces on the protection but it is not seen not to use them and easily start from a cloth shot. When I draw, the feeling is very good and I even feel that it is a little better than no protection. No, I have a lot of small problems on Sketchbook Pro: the touch of mine sometimes leaves little lines like I had pressed very hard on it (I do not know why). With protection, I felt less have this (small) problem even trying to provoke him.

In short, in summary:

The "-":
- Pose asking delicate order and method and a good time to turn the bubbles. Not rush, do not get upset but you get there. (Other protections I have known were easier to install.) However, with minimal dexterity and working with a clear head, it should.

The "+":
