Do what I want and wanted

My goal was to my TV (Samsung 6640) on my superannuated audio receiver (Pioneer VSX 804 RDS) to connect. The second goal was a matter of course: My HTPC generated (connected via audio cable to the receiver) very loud humming noise - ideally, this should be rectified.

It worked.

The sound of the TV, the receiver is now over, okay. The audio signal from the PC is forwarded without humming.

Mission accomplished.

Dolby Something can not the part. But I wanted to do neither. The receiver has two wonderful Canton speakers, all I need. I was referring to television and PC Sound. Both I have now, no hum or noise, which does not belong there.

Audiophile people like the look safe from a different angle. For there are suitable devices from 400 who certainly their advantage. Ultimately a question of the right - as so often.

My conclusion: With little money achieved a lot.

I am happy.
